I grew up on 7th Ave fighting for everything — respect, a spot, a future. Boxing saved my life when the streets tried to take it. Now I coach every kid who walks through my door the same way my old coach coached me: no excuses, no shortcuts, just work.
The gym I train out of is a rented garage. I want to buy the building and turn it into a real youth boxing gym — heavy bags, a ring, mentorship, and a safe place for kids to throw hands at a bag instead of at each other.
